- English recording studio audio engineer, Geoff Emerick dies aged 72. He was best known for his work on The Beatles albums Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, The Beatles (the "White Album") and Abbey Road. He also produced various records throughout the seventies and eighties, working with artists such as Split Enz, Elvis Costello & the Attractions and Nick Heyward.[1]
