The first is Dave Lee Travis, who recently and dramatically announced his resignation from Radio 1 on the air. The artists he introduces include Blondie, David Bowie, The Rubettes and Spandau Ballet.
- 9.00 pm MeTV Film mogul Barry Diller sees a media revolution which could bring up to 5,000 TV channels into every home. This programme takes a critical look at his vision and tells the story of its birth in the world of television shopping.
