- 7.30 pm (and Radio 1) The Brit Awards 92. The British Record Industry Awards from the Hammersmith Odeon, London. The awards include best male and female singers, group, album and producer, plus awards for international stars. The best single will be voted by Radio 1 listeners. Nominees include Phil Collins, Annie Lennox (who has had the most previous nominations - 11), Queen, Dire Straits, Madonna, Prince and Bryan Adams. Tonight's star-studded gathering will include appearances from artists such as Simply Red, Seal, Lisa Stansfield, P M Dawn, Beverley Craven, Extreme and the KLF - together with dozens of other surprises.
