The Luxury Gap

The Luxury Gap is the title of the second album by British group Heaven 17, released on 08 April 1983 on Virgin records.

The album remains the group's most commercially successful to date, reaching no.4 in the UK album charts. The first track to be released from the album was Let Me Go, in 1982, which failed to make the UK Top 40, although subsequent single releases were more successful (see Singles section below).

All songs were written by band members, Gregory, Marsh & Ware and the album was produced by B.E.F. and Greg Walsh.

Although Heaven 17 did not tour the album live at the time of its release, it was finally played in its entirety at the Roundhouse in London on 14 October 2011.

A remastered edition of the album with added bonus tracks was issued in 2006, and a special deluxe version comprising 2 CDs and a DVD of promo videos was released in 2012.
