Dare (also issued as Dare!) is the third studio album recorded and released by The Human League and the first to be released after the group split in 1980.
The album was produced by Martin Rushent and The Human League, and recorded at Rushent's Genetic Sound studios near Reading, Berkshire between March and September 1981. It was released in the UK on 16 October 1981.
Dare remains the group's most successful and best known album and has been re-issued several times since 1981 in various formats. The album contains four hit singles and also spawned the remix album Love and Dancing, released in 1982, one of the first of its kind.
